This is the signature project of the Club for the year 2010 - 2011. It was undertaken jointly with the Kesavadev Road Residents' Association (KRRA), Trivandrum. Ms Arathi, who had lost her parents, lived in a house (KRRA-47A) built with the governmental assistance under the EMS Housing Scheme. But it had no toilet or kitchen. The Club offered to extend its helping hand. KRRA also sponsored a portion of the project cost. The key of the renovated house was symbolically presented to Ms Arathi by the Lions Clubs District Governor PMJF Ln G Hariharan on March 27, 2011. The secretary of KRRA, Mr A Sukumaran Nair, spoke on the occasion. KRRA president Ln Adv T H Lawrence and vice president Mr A Ganesan Nair were also present.
